Welcome to Teima Region!
Teima, a small region far away from any other. The region sits in the middle of a large ocean, and other regions are a struggle to distinguish from the shores. Teima is newly discovered, and a few scattered settlements dot the unscathed landscape.
Teima has one of the most diverse environments, most of the large island is covered in a thick, tropical rain forest. In the western area is a now dormant volcano, surrounding it is a harsh desert. In the northeastern area is a cold, desolate tundra. The southern is home to a gorgeous white sand beach. Finally, in the southwestern corner is a marsh, rarely visited, except by the local peoples. The only mode of transportation is a hi-tech train that snakes through the region. Due to the collection of assorted climates, many Pokemon from across the world flourish in the region, if it exists, you can probably find it in Teima.
Go ahead, start your adventure.
In a post apocalyptic world Teima Region is a shining beacon of fertility and prosperity. Kanto. Gone
Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh. Gone, gone, gone.
The most sinister organization of all Team Despair surfaced soon after the fall of Team Galactic. The other organizations that popped up were childs' play compared to Despair. They were the real bad-boys, cruel and cold hearted, and something just wasn't right about the people who joined. They were more of a cult than anything, until they made the most devastating move in the history of Pokemon.
Despair managed to hijack the water tower in each region and into it they pumped gallons of a vicious toxin. It was simply named 'The Grey Storm', due to the affects it had on Pokemon. The Pokemon turned grey, eyes turned red, dark bags forming under their eyes. The Pokemon where no longer tame, they turned on their trainers. They destroyed infrastructure, bolts of electricity shooting from the sky, bursts of fire scorching anything, powerful jets of water washed away debris, mud, vegetation. Landslides occurred, earthquakes shook the regions to their core, tsunamis cleared away anyone or anything that was in their devastating path.
Being that Teima was so remote, Despair didn't even consider touching the island, not even marked on most maps. People desperately searched for any escape from the mayhem in their native regions. Families hastily clambered aboard any cargo ship, stowaways, hoping for a better life.
Teima is a brand new roleplay forum, and mod positions are open. We're a friendly bunch already, and can't wait for the growth of our forum in order to actively roleplay. There are plenty of contests, giveways and promotions to come in the future, so why not join now?
